On-site visit

On-Site Rig Assessment

A technician visits your farm or container to score repair access, spare-part paths, and hash-board swap feasibility on rigs at 0.05 PH/s and above.

Who this is for

Operators running ASIC or GPU farms at 0.05 PH/s or higher who are buying new units, expanding a row, or troubleshooting repeat hash-board failures. The assessment is for buyers who prioritize local repair access over headline efficiency numbers.

What you receive

  • Printed repair-access scorecard per model (fan modules, hash boards, PSU, control board)
  • Photographed cable routing and torque points for your technicians
  • Spare-part lead-time table through Korean distributors and direct OEM channels
  • Written notes on warranty implications when boards are swapped locally
  • Follow-up email within 48 hours summarizing priority repairs

What is not included

  • Physical repair labor during the visit (diagnostics only)
  • Purchase or installation of replacement parts
  • Electrical load studies or facility permitting
  • Hash-rate optimization or pool configuration

Process

  1. Briefing call — You send model list, serial ranges, photos of prior repairs, and downtime logs.
  2. Site visit — Our technician opens each unit type following manufacturer guidance, measures access to VRMs and hash boards, and records part numbers visible on boards and fans.
  3. Scoring — Each model receives a repair-access grade from A (full local service) to D (factory-only).
  4. Report — Delivered as PDF plus a one-page summary for procurement decisions.

Preparation

Power down affected rows safely before arrival. Provide a clean work surface, adequate lighting, and an operator who knows which units have intermittent hash-board errors. Container sites should allow side-panel access without moving neighboring racks.

Constraints

Assessments cover air-cooled and immersion-ready units commonly deployed in Korea. Units with active manufacturer lockdown on firmware may limit board-swap documentation. We do not bypass security features.
